“Sanamori the Recluse”
What They Say:
Yoshida takes over as manager of an apartment complex on behalf of his father. Awaiting him there were the attacks of the housewives driven mad by the lewd outfit brand, “Libido Cloth.” While being tossed about by the rampage of residents like Watanabe and Ichinose, the threat of Rank A housewife, Kanzaki, and the shadow of police obstructing the case further deepens the darkness within the complex. Armed with the countermeasure “Boltack Claw,” Yoshida fights them, but lurking behind him was the grasp of an even greater despair: the “Banishing Exclusion Women’s Society.”
Review: (Please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
Based on the manga by Kenkyujo Sakuseki and Yui Joyama, the spring 2026 anime adaptation is the latest short program to arrive in Japan. The anime adaptation brought on Toshikatsu Tokoro to direct it from the series composition by Eeyo Kurosaki. Rena Nasu handled the character designs, and Elias, which has worked on numerous projects in a mostly production assistance capacity, handled this at the time as well. The original manga is known as Hellish Apartment Complex and began in 2021 and has nine digital volumes out so far, with it ongoing.
Each encounter is proving to be more and more complicated for Yoshida, and this time, it has him, along with Katagiri, checking in on Sanamori. She’s a reluctant woman whose Libido Cloth is basically a human-sized pillbox, and she’s just in a state because of it. Katagiri is able to talk her down a bit more, though it mostly comes down to her being afraid of salespeople. Or, as we learn more specifically, it’s another A-ranked wife here named Kanzaki who is basically a door-to-door saleswoman. Once she sees Yoshida, she’s all-in on her pitch about particular debuts, and will go the distance with any customer with lots of sexual overtime. It’s definitely not how Yoshida wants this to go down, but to his surprise, it’s Sanamori who steps up and rescues him, offering refuge inside of her pillbox outfit. One where she tries to seduce him because of her desire to have sex in enclosed spaces like this. What’s intriguing, however, is that Kanzaki knows about the jewel that can stop the cloth, which is a big surprise.

In Summary:
It’s definitely amusing to see how Katagiri panics and runs off once she realizes that Kanzaki is the real threat here, but for Yoshida, it seems like it’s less Kanzaki and more Snamori since she was the one to actually use the Libido outfit, whereas Kanzaki just uses basic solid sexuality. There are a couple of hints of clues here, and just expanding the ideas in general, but we’re no closer to any sort of answers yet. Just watching Yoshida’s life being like a whirlwind as all these women keep trying to consume him sexually.
