The winter 2020 anime series Dorohedoro saw its home video releases handled by TOHO and they’re going for the box set route. The twelve-episode series was released as two limited-edition box sets on May 20th, 2020, and June 17th, 2020. The regular editions come in at 17,800 yen each and are set for June 17th, 2020 and July 15th, 2020. On-disc extras remain the same.
The second season looks to mirror the first in terms of layout with two new box sets scheduled. Priced at 20,000 yen each, the first set arrives on August 26th, 2026, with six episodes, the clean theme songs, and audio commentary. The second set arrives on October 21st, 2026, with the final five episodes along with promos and an audio commentary.
With a few more months until the second set, we now have a look at its packaging below.
Yuichiro Hayashi is directing based on the series composition by Hiroshi Seko. Tomohiro Kishi is working on the character designs with MAPPA handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Wataru Takagi as Caiman, Reina Kondo as Nikaidō, Yu Kobayashi as Noi, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Shin, Kengo Takanashi as Fujita, Kenyuu Horiuchi as En, Miyu Tomita as Ebisu, Hisao Egawa as Vaux, and Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Kasukabe. Additional casting includes Mayu Udono as Kikurage, Songdo as Risu, Tetsu Inada as Tanba, Shinichiro Miki as Turkey, Hozumi Gōda as Asu, Anri Katsu as Chōta, Tooru Nara as Matsumura, Takuma Terashima as Fukuyama, Mayu Udono as Aitake and Maitake, Hiro Shimono, Takehito Koyasu, and Miyuri Shimabukuro.
The manga began back in 1999 and wrapped up with twenty-three volumes at the time of the announcement.

Plot Concept: In a city so dismal it’s known only as “the Hole,” a clan of Sorcerers have been plucking people off the streets to use as guinea pigs for atrocious “experiments” in the black arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia. To undo the spell, they’re hunting and killing the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually they’ll kill the right one. But when En, the head Sorcerer, gets word of a lizard-man slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of “cleaners” into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.
