Classic properties from long ago get all sorts of distribution over the years, and when you add in a few reboots, sequels, and other projects, it can get a bit confusing. TC Entertainment is going back to the original 1963 series with plans for two new Blu-ray box sets. Both sets will be priced at 33,000 yen each and will arrive on June 26th, 2026, and July 31st, 2026, respectively.
The first set will have 48 episodes, while the second set will have 49 episodes. All 97 episodes, including the origin story, are being released on Blu-ray for the first time, split into two volumes.
Extras for properties of this age are light, with the first set getting a pre-broadcast promo, and an arcylrc card stand as a limited first-press item along with a booklet. The second set comes with an acrylic keychain along with an instruction manual.
