A new manga series has gotten distribution in Japan that’s available from the B’s Log Comic imprint via ComicWalker with The Vow of the Extinct Flower: The Temporary Sorcerer Couple Runs Through the Imperial Harem. Known originally as 絶華の契り 仮初め呪術師夫婦は後宮を駆ける, it comes from creators Anzaki Iori (Original Story) and Nai2 (Character Design) with Oikawa Shin handling the manga adaptation. You can find the series page here, where it looks like it’s a monthly release.
The first novel arrived in January 2025, and you can see its cover below.
Originally known as ComicWalker, Kadokomi is the Kadokawa online manga service that began in March 2014. It distributes works from various Kadokawa manga magazines, both physical and digital, as well as its own original series. Some of the series are released under the Dengeki Comics NEXT imprint.
Plot Concept: The Third Prince, Li Ling, has ordered the sorceress Hong Zhu to investigate, only to discover that she is none other than his former nemesis, Liang!? “You, come and marry me.” Only the consort can help Liang, who has become a covert sorceress protecting the imperial palace. In other words, “marriage = distress signal,” meaning that Hong Zhu’s help is needed… “Just say it already, you idiot.” The two enter into a temporary marriage and begin their investigation. The imperial harem, filled with miasma, is a den of intrigue and evil—!? The strongest (temporary) couple races through China in this demon-slaying fantasy☆!
