The anime adaptation of the Fire Force manga had its second season in the summer of 2020, and we learned in May 2022 that a third season was in the works. The third season is set as a two-part release, with the first part coming in April 2025, while the second part will arrive in January 2026. Crunchyroll is set to stream it, and the season has Tatsuma Minamikawa directing it from the scripts and composition by Sei Tsuguta. Hideyuki Morioka is on the character designs, while David Production is handling the animation for it.
With it previously making an April 4th, 2025, premiere and streaming through Crunchyroll and Hulu, the next and final part of the series saw a January 9th, 2026, premiere date. Crunchyroll has now brought out a new clip from the 24th episode where… The Kusakabe family become Shinra Bancho!
The previously announced has Gakuto Kajiwara on board as the lead with Gakuto Kajiwara as Shinra Kusakabe, Yūsuke Kobayashi as Arthur Boyle, M.A.O as Iris, Saeko Kamijō as Maki Oze, Kenichi Suzumura as Takehisa Hinawa, Kazuya Nakai as Akitaru Ōbi, Daisuke Sakaguchi as Victor Licht, Aoi Yūki as Kotatsu Tamaki, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Karim Fulham, Katsuyuki Konishi as Takeru Noto, Lynn as Princess Hibana, Kengo Kawanishi as Toru Kishiri, Tomoaki Maeno as Konro Sagamiya, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Joker.
The English dub has Jeremy Inman directing it from the adaptation by Tyler Walker. The English cast includes Shinra voiced by Derick Snow, Arthur voiced by Eric Vale, Obi voiced by Jeremy ,Inman, Iris voiced by Alexis Tipton, Licht voiced by Ian Sinclair, Benimaru voiced by Aaron Roberts, Hibana voiced by Colleen Clinkenbeard, Hinawa voiced by Christopher Wehkamp, Vulcan voiced by Ernesto Jason Liebrecht, Maki voiced by Sarah Roach, Hibachi voiced by Larry Brantley, Konro voiced by Jeff Plunk, Female Students voiced by Rowan Gilvie, Erin Kelly Noble, and Male Student voiced by Daryl Mayfield.
The series features the opening theme song “Ignis” by Takanori Nishikawa, while Survive Said the Prophet will perform the ending theme song “Speak of the Devil.”
Created by Atsuko Ohkubo, the series began in 2015 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and has thirty-three volumes out with it wrapping up in February 2022. Ohkubo gained a lot of fame for his work on the Soul Eater franchise. Kodansha Comics releases the manga in North America.

Plot Concept: Terror has paralyzed the clockwork metropolis of Tokyo! Possessed by demons, people have begun to burst into flame, leading to the establishment of a special firefighting team: the Fire Force, ready to roll on a moment’s notice to fight spontaneous combustion anywhere it might break out. The team is about to get a very unique addition: Shinra, a boy who possesses the unique power to run at the speed of a rocket, leaving behind the famous “devil’s footprints” (and destroying his shoes in the process). Can the Fire Force discover the source of this strange phenomenon and put a stop to it? Or will the city burn to ashes first?
