With a strong push for the manga over the past couple of years, with Viz Media bringing out trailers for almost every volume, we learned in July 2024 that an anime adaptation is in the works. We learned earlier on that it was going to get an Adult Swim broadcast, as well as additional streaming. Viz Media is also the worldwide representative for the show regarding streaming, broadcast, digital purchase, home video, and the merchandising push that will be coming for it.
With the fractured broadcast and streaming schedule below, Viz Media has brought out the first preview of the 11th episode due out on May 24th, 2026, through Hulu and Disney+.
The Toonami broadcast premiere date was set with a March 14th, 2026, debut, and the Japanese broadcast side with an April 5th, 2026, premiere, while Hulu and Disney+ have set a March 15th, 2026, streaming premiere for it with it on Hulu for the US while Disney+ will have it in Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Gibraltar, France, Italy, Spain, Andorra, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
The English cast includes:
- Patrick Seitz as Keiji
- Luci Christian as Elizabeth
- Kimoy Lee as Piyoko
- Robbie Daymond as Keisuke
- Roger Rose as Morio
The anime has Daisuke Suzuki on board to direct it from the series composition by Hiroshi Seko. SANZIGEN is handling the animation production and you can see the first trailer below.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Kenta Miyake as Keiji
- Mariko Honda as Elizabeth
- Shiori Izawa as Piyoko
- Yūko Kaida as Kugone
- Jun Kasama as Yuji
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Hikari
- Hikaru Tōno as Sara
- Akio Ōtsuka as Keizan
