Viz Media recently brought another series to release, with the first volume of Kill Blue. arriving with a June 3rd, 2025 release priced at $6.99 for the digital edition and $11.99 for the print edition. At the end of August 2025, an anime adaptation was announced as the manga wrapped up its serialization with a thirteenth and final volume on December 4, 2025. With an April 11th, 2026, premiere date, Hiro Kaburagi is set to direct it from their own scripts, with CUE handling the animation production. Miho Daidoji is on board for the character designs.
The series has an English dub underway from Bang Zoom! Studios with Grant George and Julie Maddalena directing it from the scripts by Ardwright Chamberlain. The latest cast update has come in for the third episode with:

- Shūichirō Umeda as Kotatsu Nekota
- Takeo Ōtsuka as Tenma Tendō
- Yumi Uchiyama as Eri Wanibuchi
- Daisuke Sakuma as Shin Kohazame
- Shōya Chiba as Kazuma Rindō
- Yoshiki Nakajima as Eiji Rindō
The property comes from Tadatoshi Fujimaki and was originally known as Kill Ao, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for Shueisha. The series began in 2023 and has thirteen volumes total.
