A new anime adaptation was revealed in May 2023, with the Medalist manga getting the nod. With Disney+ handling the worldwide distribution, the show premiered on January 4th, and Hulu released it subtitled and dubbed. We learned at the end of the season in March 2025 that a second season would be coming. The anime adaptation has Yasutaka Yamamoto directing it from the series composition by Jukki Hanada. Chinatsu Kameyama is handling the character designs with ENGI on the animation production.
The second season saw a January 24th, 2026, premiere date in Japan, and arrived on Hulu a month later in February. Now, the English dub for the show has arrived on Hulu with the complete season being dropped at once instead of weekly. You can find the series page here.

The series features the opening theme song “Bow and Arrow” by Kenshi Yonezu and the ending theme song is “Atashi no Dress” performed by Neguse.
The manga comes from Tsurumaikada, which began in 2020 as serialized in Afternoon Magazine. It has thirteen volumes out as of December 2025 and is released in English through Kodansha Comics.

Plot Concept: Tsukasa Akeuraji, a frustrated skater, meets Inori Yuitsuka, a girl who yearns to be a figure skater. Motivated by Inori’s obsession on the rink, Tsukasa begins coaching Inori. Inori’s talent blossoms, and Tsukasa becomes a brilliant mentor. Together they aim to make her a glorious medalist!
