Throughout the year, shows based on popular novels will grace the Mayflower Theatre and Mayflower Studios, offering a diverse range of stories.
Starting from March 10 to March 14, Mayflower Studios will host The Boy at the Back of the Class, a story about the unexpected adventures of a refugee child, based on the novel by Onjali Q. Rauf.
A couple of weeks later, To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee’s iconic novel set in 1934 Alabama, will take the stage at Mayflower Theatre from March 24 to March 28.

The story, known worldwide for its strong themes of empathy and justice, depicts a lawyer’s quest for truth in a secretive town.
From March 31 to April 4, Mayflower Studios will showcase Julia Donaldson’s A Squash and a Squeeze, a whimsical tale about a little old lady finding happiness in unexpected places.
Meanwhile, fans of Horrible Histories can look forward to a fun-filled weekend from April 2 to April 4 at Mayflower Theatre, with a concert featuring historical figures like King Henry VIII and Queen Victoria.
From April 7 to April 11, Mayflower Studios will bring the chilling atmosphere of The Woman in Black to life.

This long-running West End hit follows Arthur Kipps as he struggles with a family curse allegedly cast by the spectre of the Woman in Black.
The beloved story of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical will be on stage at Mayflower Theatre from April 29 to May 17, portraying the life of an extraordinary little girl who stands up to change her destiny.
More shows based on books will follow in the summer and next year.
The Lion Inside will run at Mayflower Studios from August 28 to August 30, while Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) will play at Mayflower Theatre from March 3 to March 6, 2027.
