The Fate Project property has had some interesting new stuff over the last few years, which included the December 31st, 2022, debut of the Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- TV special. With a TV project being spun out from that, we learned last year that it was confirmed that Crunchyroll will be streaming it in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The first episode made its debut on December 31st, 2024, as part of the New Year’s special for the larger franchise. With the show getting its proper debut on January 3rd, 2026, the series ran for thirteen episodes, and at its conclusion revealed that more is on the way – though no format was set.
The latest update on the property has come in and while it doesn’t give us anything in regards to the sequell, we have a new character key visual for True Caster as played by Maaya Uchida to enjoy.

Plot Concept: In a Holy Grail War, Mages (Masters) and their Heroic Spirits (Servants) fight for the control of the Holy Grail—an omnipotent wish-granting device said to fulfill any desire. Years have passed since the end of the Fifth Holy Grail War in Japan. Now, signs portend the emergence of a new Holy Grail in the western American city of Snowfield. Sure enough, Masters and Servants begin to gather… A missing Servant class… Impossible Servant summonings… A nation shrouded in secrecy… And a city created as a battleground. In the face of such irregularities, the Holy Grail War is twisted and driven into the depth of madness. Let the curtain rise on a masquerade of humans and heroes, made to dance upon the stage of a false Holy Grail.
