With ten novels out and one manga adaptation, the Iya na Kao Sarenagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai doujin series saw an anime adaptation in 2018 and then had a second but shorter season in 2019. A new project was announced in August 2025 and has been rolling out updates since then.
OceanVeil picked up the previous work last fall and began streaming it, so it was a given that they’d have the new season as well at this point. With it arriving with an April 30th, 2026, premiere date, DMM Pictures has solicited the home video release. The Blu-ray is scheduled for an August 28th, 2026, release priced at 11,000 yen. The set includes the six-episode run as well as a special booklet and illustration card. Check out the cover artwork sample below.
The previous Japanese cast includes Shizuka Ishigami as Chitose Itō, Sawako Hata as Maria Takayama, Ayana Taketatsu as sisters Yuno and Kano Futaba, Sumire Uesaka as Natsumi Hayakawa, Reina Ueda as Shiori Matsuura, Natsumi Takamori as Riko Fujino, Kanae Itō as Nanako Mita, Hina Suguta as Kokoro Kisaragi, Natsumi Haruse as Mei Sakura, Rina Kawaguchi as Nene Arisu, Ai Orikasa as Saki Kurose, and Hikaru Iida as Valmina Dia Nox.
