A new manga series has gotten distribution that’s available from the Comic Gene imprint via ComicWalker with This Is Not Fan Service!. Known originally as これはファンサじゃありません！, it comes from creator Poyo Shitagokoro. You can find the series page here, where it looks like it updates irregularly.
Shitagokoro made their debut in 2024 with a pair of titles, and this series launched through pixiv in March 2026.
Originally known as ComicWalker, Kadokomi is the Kadokawa online manga service that began in March 2014. It distributes works from various Kadokawa manga magazines, both physical and digital, as well as its own original series. Some of the series are released under the Dengeki Comics NEXT imprint.
Plot Concept: Yuki Ichisei, a second-generation actor, grew up being praised only for his “face” and “father’s looks.” No matter how seriously he dedicated himself to acting, he was fed up with being praised only for his father’s appearance. But one day, while picking up his cousin from daycare, he meets Shunto, a daycare teacher who praises his “acting.” While happy, Ichisei can’t shake the suspicion that Shunto is “just a fan of his looks,” so he tries to expose Shunto’s true feelings by making a false impression…? A BL story of a cunning and manipulative actor and a cool and aloof daycare teacher’s frustrating battle of wits!!
