The Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- property has been going for several years now, and things are moving along well for it. Originally starting its broadcast run back in 2016, it was directed by Masaharu Watanabe and based on the series composition by Masahiro Yokotani. Kyuta Sakai handled the character designs, and as the chief animation director with production was handled by White Fox.
The end of the third season confirmed that a fourth season is in production, which was set for an April 8th, 2026, premiere date. With that underway, Crunchyroll has brought out a clip from the 3rd episode. Wait, not like that!
Season 4 will consist of 19 episodes in total, divided into two parts: The Loss Arc (11 episodes) and The Recapture Arc (8 episodes). The Loss Arc will begin its broadcast and streaming on Wednesday, April 8.

We also learned that the ending theme song will be “Ender Ember” as performed by MYTH & ROID feat. TK (Ling tosite sigure). We previously learned that the season features the opening theme song “Recollect” as performed by Konomi Suzuki and Ashnikko.
The Japanese cast includes Rie Takahashi as Emilia, Yūsuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki, Chinatsu Akasaki as Felt, Inori Minase as Rem, Kana Ueda as Anastasia Hoshin, Keiji Fujiwara as Al, Kenta Miyake as Kadomon Risch, Kenyuu Horiuchi as Wilhelm van Astrea, Kōhei Amasaki as Otto Suwen, Mamiko Noto as Elsa Granhilte, Mugihito as Rom, Rie Murakawa as Ram, Satomi Arai as Beatrice, Takehito Koyasu as Roswaal L. Mathers, Takuya Eguchi as Julius Euclius, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Betelgeuse Romanee-Conti, Yui Horie as Felix Argyle, Yūichi Nakamura as Reinhard Van Astrea, Yuka Iguchi as Crusch Karsten, Yukari Tamura as Priscilla Barielle, and Yumi Uchiyama as Puck.
Additional cast this season include Aya Yamane as Liliana Masquerade, Shōya Ishige as Joshua Juukulius, Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kiritaka Muse, Kenjirō Tsuda as Heinkel Astrea, Chika Anzai as Sirius Romanée-Conti, and Tomokazu Sugita as Reid Astrea
The show is based on the novels by Tappei Nagatsuki that began in 2012 with Yen Press releasing them and the manga in North America.
