While almost everyone knows about this property, advertising almost never hurts. The New Prince of Tennis (新テニスの王子様) manga is getting some promotion with it nabbing the upcoming 7/2026 cover of Jump SQ as you can see below. The manga comes from Takeshi Konomi, which began in 2009 and has forty-six volumes to date, after the original series ran for forty-two volumes.
Konomi made their debut in 1998 with Cool – Rental Body Guard and have eight properties to their name in total.
Jump Square, also written as Jump SQ., is a Japanese monthly shōnen manga magazine published by Shueisha. The magazine premiered on November 2, 2007, as a replacement for Monthly Shōnen Jump.
Plot Concept: The purported advertisement from the Jump Square issue says that everything in The Prince of Tennis up to now has been a “prologue” and that “a new legend for Ryoma and the others will begin.” 50 middle school players have been invited to participate in the All Japan U-17 Selection Camp. Ryoma Echizen returns from the U.S to join his teammates and rivals.
