Known fully as Psycho x Past: Ryouki Satsujin Sennyuu Sousa, the ongoing manga series saw some new numbers revealed for it recently. With twelve volumes out, the series has some 2.4 million copies in circulation. The thirteenth volume saw a May 8th, 2026, release date.
The manga is by Shingo Honda, which began serialization in 2022 in Bessatsu Shonen Champion, published by Akita Shoten.
Honda made their debut in 2005 with Takkyuu Dash! and have just under a dozen works since then with a heavy lean on horror.
Bessatsu Shonen Champion is a monthly shōnen manga magazine published around the 10th and 12th day of the month in Japan by Akita Shoten. It contains many manga titles targeted at boys, including color spreads and news about the titles such as anime news and author comments.
Plot Concept: The “psycho suspense” manga follows Godai, a policeman who was removed from the investigations division of the police due to violence toward criminals. He teams up with Hidaka, a man who is a self-proclaimed “paranormal police investigator” who claims to have the ability to send Godai in the past to prevent all the horrific crimes that happened, is that even possible, and what will be the consequences?
