May the Fourth is coming up, and that always means new Star Wars LEGO sets. LEGO has already announced most of the Star Wars Day upcoming sets, but it saved a “mystery set” for last. The mystery set is a new entry in the Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series (UCS), a big 1,809-piece set based on The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter.
Exclusive to LEGO Store, it costs $249.99 and is set to release May 1 for LEGO Insiders and May 4 for everyone else. Unfortunately, it’s not available for preorder. It looks great, so let’s check it out in detail.

The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter is the latest UCS set, meaning it’s a big, ambitious, collectible set aimed at adults and intended for display over play. To that effect, it includes a buildable stand and an informational placard. It also comes with a Mandalorian minifigure with a blaster accessory, plus a Grogu figure.
This set is releasing just a few weeks before The Mandalorian and Grogu, a major motion picture starring everyone’s favorite bounty hunter and baby Yoda-type creature.

Two Gift with Purchase sets will be available via the LEGO Store for anyone who buys this set between May 1-6 while supplies last. The first is LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian and Grogu display (5010320). It’s “a lenticular ’film strip’ image of Mando and Grogu in the cockpit of the N-1 Starfighter. View from a different angle to see the stars blurring around them, as if the starfighter is hitting top speed.”
The second is available to anyone who spends $160 or more on Star Wars LEGO sets (i.e. it’s not limited to buyers of the N-1 Starfighter). It’s LEGO Star Wars The Darksaber (40917). These limited-time GWPs tend to sell out fast, so plan on buying right when they go live at 12:10 a.m. on May 1 if you really want one.
Additionally, starting May 1, LEGO Insiders can exchange 2,500 points for The Mandalorian and Grogu Metal Card. The card also comes with a stand for display.
