The LDK manga began in 2009 in Bessatsu Friend by Ayu Watanabe and it had a successful run with twenty-four volumes total when it wrapped up in 2017. Kodansha Comics began bringing the series out for English readers in 2015 and the property also inspired two live-action films with a different cast in 2014 and 2019.
Back in 2021, Ayu Watanabe returned to the property with a sequel series called LDK Pink (エル ディー ケー ピンク). It debuted in the March issue of Bessatsu Friend with a story that moves up a few years, with the leads being 23. Now, with two compiled volumes for the new run out there, the series has been picked up by KManga for English release here.
Check out our coverage of the series.
