A new manga series has gotten distribution in Japan that’s available from the Aohane imprint via ComicWalker with I’m Pretending To Be A Cat Again Today. Known originally as ぼくは今日も猫のふり, it comes from creators HuntSnow (Author) and Aoba Kadokawa (Original Story & Supervision). You can find the series page here, where it looks like it updates weekly.
Originally known as ComicWalker, Kadokomi is the Kadokawa online manga service that began in March 2014. It distributes works from various Kadokawa manga magazines, both physical and digital, as well as its own original series. Some of the series are released under the Dengeki Comics NEXT imprint.
Plot Concept: Sei, a human boy, moves with his family to a town inhabited by beastmen. To avoid standing out and to quickly adapt to his new environment, he wears a cat-ear hat and pretends to be a beastman. However, his carefully hidden “secret” seems to have been seen through by his clever and slightly mischievous fox classmate who sits next to him. To make matters worse, Sei is unexpectedly elected class president. He must continue to hide his true identity as a human and maintain his lie. Sei has no time to relax and must continue to play the role of a “perfectly normal beastman student”…
