LOCK HAVEN — Haven Performing Arts is gearing up for their 2026 TIA Competition Season, which began Feb. 14 at Bellefonte High School.
Haven has grown this season and now has two dance teams and three twirl teams. The performers are all local youth ranging from the ages of 5-18.
Haven performers and coaches started practices in October and have been working diligently on learning their routines.
Haven Cadet Twirlers are being led this year by Coach Jacque Newlen, and their show theme is “I Want Candy.”
Haven Junior Twirlers are being led by Coach Lea Kline, and their show is called “Revenge” and features songs from Cruella.

The theme for Novice Twirlers is “I Am Enough” and is led by Coaches Marissa Allen and Halie Engel.
Haven Jr. Dance is led by Coaches Jade Stasko and Courtney Rager, and their theme is “A Message from Heaven.”
And finally, the Regional A Dance team, led by Coaches Rachael Hanley, Megan Marino and Erin Hearn, will be performing a dance to the theme “Beyond the Fence Line.”
Haven recently held a Bingo fundraiser to raise funds for their season and would like to take a minute to thank their sponsors. These businesses include The Golden Axe, Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home, The Phoenix, Kami McWilliam Agency, LLC, Dr. Jeffrey Raymond and KBR Bingo Hall and More.
If you are interested in watching these performers do what they love, you can catch them locally at Central Mountain on March 7, Jersey Shore on March 28 or Bald Eagle Area on April 11.
