A new manga series has launched in April 2025 with the arrival of Yumeji Akari to Mahou no Hon (夢路あかりと魔法の本) in the 6/2025 installment of Manga Time Kirara Max. The property translates as Akari Yumeji & the Magic Book, which comes from creator Kusuki Nishi.
Now, the series has its first compiled volume coming up on April 27th, 2026, and the finalized cover artwork is below.
This is the debut work from the creator.
Manga Time Kirara Max is a Japanese four-panel seinen manga magazine published by Houbunsha. It is the third magazine of the “Kirara” series, after Manga Time Kirara and Manga Time Kirara Carat. The first issue was released in March 2003 as a special edition of Manga Time Kirara
Plot Concept: The series is about a high school girl who gets summoned to a mysterious forest by another girl who cast a spell from a magical book to find friends. Together with a third girl, the trio tries to figure out a way to escape from the forest they are stuck in and also recover the hazy memories of the girl who summoned them.
