A new manga series saw launch earlier this fall in a fairly quiet way with Dragemis (ドラゲミス). The new series made its debut on October 1st, 2025, through the 44/2025 installment of Weekly Shonen Sunday. The first compiled volume is set for a January 16th, 2026, release date, and the series wrapped up its serialization recently. Now, the third and final volume is set for a July 16th, 2026, release date, and we have the finalized cover below. You can find the series page here.
Kuriyama made their debut in 2017 with Lies of the Sheriff Evans Dead or Love, which was completed with twenty volumes. They’ve had over half a dozen one-shots as well over the years.
Weekly Shōnen Sunday is a weekly shōnen manga magazine published in Japan by Shogakukan since March 1959. Contrary to its title, Weekly Shōnen Sunday issues are released on Wednesdays.
Plot Concept: Raneko, a shy girl, and Kainu, a boy with a mysterious past. The two aspiring adventurers continue their challenge to the Madara Tower, where the “treasure of the farthest reaches” lies! A companion-hunting adventure comedy brought to you by Mizuki Kuriyama, the flagship of comedy!
