Netflix in March means many exciting things: the Peaky Blinders movie, a new four-part dinosaur documentary produced by Steven Spielberg, the entire Saw franchise (sans Spiral), the second season of the live-action One Piece, the Duffer Brothers-produced Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. Plus, classics like Misery, Casino, The Green Knight, and Anatomy of a Fall!

Here’s a rundown of every series, special, movie, and doc headed to Netflix in March…

Everything Coming to Netflix in March 2026

    March 1

    • Casino (movie, 1995)
    • Chef (movie, 2014)
    • Deepwater Horizon (movie, 2016)
    • Desperado (movie, 1995)
    • Fifty Shades Darker (movie, 2017)
    • Fifty Shades Freed (movie, 2018)
    • Fifty Shades of Grey (movie, 2015)
    • The Green Knight (movie, 2021)

    Highlight: The Green Knight

Don’t sleep on David Lowrey’s gorgeous, spellbinding take on the famed Arthurian fable of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, starring Dev Patel as Sir Gawain, the nephew of King Arthur and a middling also-ran adventurer who desires a shortcut to lasting legacy. Enter the spectral Green Knight, a mysterious half-giant who offers up a challenge that the HEADstrong Gawain is foolishly unable to resist.

Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury, Sean Harris, Ralph Ineson, Barry Keoghan, and Erin Kellyman also star in this “heart-rattling, loins-riling, and head-spinning trip that packs a profound punch.”

    Highlight: Misery

In the late ’80s/early ’90s, there was a brief sea change in the land of horror, which had always been an ignored, demonized movie genre (especially following the early ’80s slasher boom). It was a time where we briefly got a window of A-list horror once director Rob Reiner cleaned up with Misery, scoring Kathy Bates an Oscar, and then The Silence of the Lambs swept major categories at the Academy Awards (including Best Picture) a year later. Suddenly, big names wanted in on what was once Hollywood’s shame.

James Caan and Kathy Bates in 1990’s Misery.

All of a sudden Francis Ford Coppola was delivering unto us Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Tom Cruise was starring in a Neil Jordan-directed Interview With the Vampire. Martin Scorsese was remaking Cape Fear and Kenneth Branagh was adapting Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein – both starring Robert De Niro. Hell, even Jack Nicholson played a werewolf. Yes, before A24’s “elevated horror” there was ’90s “prestige horror.” So do yourself a favor and check ou the truly excellent King adaptation (from back when those were few and far between), Misery.

    • Ray (movie, 2004)
    • Sicario (movie, 2015)
    • Stephen King’s Sleepwalkers (movie, 1992)
    • The Swan Princess (movie, 1994)
    • Trolls (movie, 2016)
    • Zombieland (movie, 2009)

    March 2

    March 3

    • The Bling Ring (movie, 2013)
    • Bruce Bruce: I Ain’t Playin’ (stand-up special)

    March 4

    • Blue Therapy (UK, series)
    • Street Flow 3 (France, movie)

    March 5

    • A Friend, a Murderer (Denmark, doc)
    • Ginger & Rosa (movie, 2012)

    March 6

    • A Man Called Ove (Sweden, movie, 2015)
    • Boyfriend on Demand (South Korea, series)
    • The Dinosaurs (docu-series)

    Highlight: The Dinosaurs

Lest you forget how much Steven Spielberg loves dinosaurs (Jurassic Park 1 & 2, The Land Before Time, Terra Nova), he’s back in the saddle again with The Dinosaurs. From executive producer Spielberg, Amblin Documentaries, and Silverback Films (the award‑winning team behind Our Planet), The Dinosaurs is a four-part docu-series that follows the rise and fall of these ancient reptiles across more than 150 million years – from their appearance in the Triassic period until their demise in the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. Narrated by Academy Award–winner Morgan Freeman.

    “Rawr you serious?”

    • Hello Bachhon (India, series)
    • Still Shining (South Korea, series)
    • Strangers in the Park (Argentina, movie)
    • The TikTok Killer (Spain, doc)
    • War Machine (movie, 2026)

    Highlight: War Machine

Directed, co-produced, and co-written by Patrick Hughes (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), War Machine stars Reacher’s Alan Ritchson — alongside Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, and Keiynan Lonsdale — in the story of an elite US Army Ranger team whose training exercise turns into a fight for survival against an unimaginable threat.

    March 7

    • BEASTARS FINAL SEASON Part 2 (Japan, series)
    • Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (movie, 2025)
    • Nuremberg (movie, 2025)

    March 10

    • Derrick Stroup: Nostalgic (stand-up special)

    • ONE PIECE: Season 2 (series)

    Highlight: ONE PIECE Season 2

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the high-seas pirate adventure ONE PIECE returns for Season 2 — aka ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line — unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.

The first two episodes of Season 2 will also be released in more than 200 theaters in the US, Canada, and Japan on March 10 (6pm start time in U.S. and Canada).

    • Saw: The Final Chapter (movie, 2010)
    • Jigsaw (movie, 2017)
    • Saw X (movie, 2023)

    Highlight: Saw Franchise

Here’s your chance to run through all the Saw movies (with the exception of spinoff Spiral: From the Book of Saw) before everything gets rebooted following Blumhouse’s acquisition of the Saw franchise and co-creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell returning to the fold to reshape the mega-franchise they created.

Wan already stated, last month at Sundance, that he wants to do something markedly different with Saw XI. “This next movie would be the eleventh installment, and there’ve been lots of films in this world. We need to do something different in order to reach out to a new generation that didn’t grow up with it.”

Billy the Puppet has a message for you.

    • STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (Japan, series)
    • Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2 (series)
    • Unicorn Academy: Secrets Revealed: Chapter 1 (Canada)

    March 20

    • Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (UK, movie)

Highlight: Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

After a brief, select theatrical run, the Peaker Blinders sequel film, from creator Steven Knight (who’s also writing the 16th James Bond film), will land on Netflix on March 20. Star Cillian Murphy returns in the lead role of Thomas Shelby, alongside an ensemble cast including Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, and Stephen Graham. New faces to the saga include Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Jay Lycurgo, and Barry Keoghan (as Thomas Shelby’s son, Duke).

Amidst the chaos of WWII, Tommy Shelby is driven back from a self-imposed exile to face his most destructive reckoning yet. With the future of the family and the country at stake, Tommy must face his own demons, and choose whether to confront his legacy, or burn it to the ground.

    March 21

    March 26

    • Caterpillar (Japan, movie, 2010)
    • The Conners: Season 7 (series)
    • Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole (Norway, series)

Based on Jo Nesbø’s bestselling crime novels, this new Detective Hole series follows the brilliant crimestopper as he hunts killers while fighting his own demons.

    Highlight: Jo Nesbø’s Detective Hole

Chiming in quickly here to mention that 2017’s The Snowman, starring Michael Fassbender, was one of the most (rightfully) maligned movies of this century, despite it being based on this bestselling Norwegian book series. So here’s a chance, for anyone curious, to check out Detective Hole (ugh) in a proper Norwegian series that may do justice to the books in the way the English adaptation couldn’t.

It’s worth noting that in 2023, six years after its release, The Snowman was confoundingly the #1 movie on Netflix. This may have ultimately led to the decision to pursue a Harry Hole series.

    • Mike & Molly: Seasons 1- 6
    • The Prosecutor (Mexico, doc)
    • The Red Line (Thailand, movie)
    • Something Very Bad is Going to Happen (series)

Highlight: Something Very Bad is Going to Happen

Stranger Things’ Duffer Bros executive produce this 8-episode series following a bride and groom, Rachel (Camila Morrone) and Nicky (Adam DiMarco), in the week leading up to their ill-fated wedding. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine, and Zlatko Burić also star. Tune if if you, in fact, want to see something very bad happen. It’s pretty much guaranteed in the title.

    “I’m right behind me, aren’t I?
