The anime series Dr. Stone has had two seasons out, and the third series arrived in the spring of 2023, going under the subtitle of New World. The third season saw a premiere on April 6th, 2023, and at the end of 2023, the fourth season was confirmed with Dr. Stone Science Future Engine as the title for it. We learned previously that the new season will begin in 2025 and that it’ll be split over three non-consecutive cours. With a January 9th, 2025, premiere date for the first cour, the conclusion of it has revealed that the second cour saw a July 10th, 2025, premiere. That cour wrapped up at the end of September 2025, and the production revealed that the third and final cour of the property is set for a 2026 debut.
With the series previously scheduled for an April 2nd, 2026, premiere date, the production has now dropped the first preview of the 3rd episode, which is continuing with the numbering at 28, ahead of its April 23rd debut.
The opening theme song is “Skins” performed by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, while the ending theme song is “no man’s world” by -otoha- for the new cour.
Shinya Iino directed the series based on the series composition by Yuichiro Kido. Yuko Iwasa handled the character designs for it.
The Japanese cast includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Senku, Makoto Furukawa as Taiju Ōki, Kana Ichinose as Yuzuriha Ogawa, Yūichi Nakamura as Tsukasa Shishio, Gen Sato as Chrome, Manami Numakura as Kohaku, Tomoaki Maeno as Kinro, Ayumu Murase as Ginro, Karin Takahashi as Suika, Reina Ueda as Ruri, Kengo Kawanishi as Gen, and Mugihito as Kaseki. The new additions include Kenji Nojima as Dr. Xeno and Kōji Yusa as Stanley Snyder.
This season the production has Mike McFarland directing it from the adaptation by Tyler Walker. The English cast includes Aaron Dismuke as Senku Ishigami, Brandon McInnis as Gen Asagiri, Brittany Lauda as Yuzuriha Ogawa, Felecia Angelle as Kohaku, Matt Shipman as Chrome, Ricco Fajardo as Taiju Oki, Clifford Chapin as Ryusui Nanami, Ian Sinclair as Tsukasa Shishio, J. Michael Tatum as Magma, Jessie James Grelle as Kinro, Justin Briner as Ginro, Katelyn Barr as Nikki Hanada, Kenny Green as Kaseki, Kyle Phillips as Yo Uei, Lindsay Seidel as Kirisame, Mark Allen Jr. as Ukyo Saionji, Michelle Rojas as Francois, Sarah Wiedenheft as Suika, Alejandro Saab as Matsukaze, and Kristi Rothrock as Minami Hokutozai.
