The Crooked Tree Arts Center recently honored Northern Michigan’s young artists at the 2026 Youth Arts Awards.
The event, held April 16 at the CTAC Theater in Petoskey, marked the culmination of the 2026 Youth Arts Festival, an annual showcase of student creativity in visual arts and performance.
According to a community announcement, more than 70 students were recognized with prizes and scholarships. The awards included crowd-funded cash prizes for artwork and were presented in partnership with organizations such as Interlochen Center for the Arts, the College for Creative Studies, the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design, Petoskey Pediatric Dentistry, Good Hart Artist Residency, Crooked Tree Photographic Society, Honor Bank and the Portrait Society of America.
