Okotoks welcomed its fourth annual Indigenous Artisan Market, “Iitohpoom’op,” to the Viking Rentals Centre Event Centre on Saturday.
This year’s market featured more than 49 Indigenous, First Nations and Métis artists and creators from across Canada selling unique crafts and artwork, with proceeds going directly to the creators.
Attendees of all ages filled the event centre to browse a unique selection of items ranging from custom-made clothing to paintings, jewelry, toys, soaps and more.
Marketgoers browsed vendor booths to the backdrop of live music performed by Okotoks’ own Brettyn Rose.

Coming just ahead of National Indigenous History Month in June, the annual Indigenous Artisan Market is part of the Town’s commitment to advancing Truth and Reconciliation through the celebration of Indigenous art and culture.
