The Naruto: Shippuden series is on track from Anime Limited regarding getting a Blu-ray release in the UK after finishing up their plans for the original series. The distributor previously announced its plans for 2026 with the project overall and the first collection specifically, where they’re following the success on their Bleach release for dealing with such a long series:
- There will be four Collector’s Edition sets of NARUTO SHIPPUDEN launched throughout our Blu-ray release run – these will feature volumes 1, 6, 11 and 16 of the series.
- These Collector’s Editions will each contain just one volume of the series, but will also serve as storage boxes for additional Standard Edition volumes. For example, as we’ll see in a moment, our first NARUTO Shippuden Collector’s Edition will contain Part 1 of the series together with a set of art cards, but will also have space to house Parts 2, 3, 4, and 5, which will be sold separately.
- There’ll be a total of 20 volumes of the series, with each Collector’s Edition set holding five volumes.
Each volume of the series will contain approximately 25 episodes across four Blu-ray discs, much like their original NARUTO standard edition volume releases.
The releases have been rolling on, and now Anime Limited has scheduled the fifth set for a June 29th, 2026, release date, with pricing again at £49.99, as it works through episodes 101-125 of the series. Check out the cover below.
Plot Concept: Naruto Uzumaki is back! After two and a half years of training on the road with Jiraiya of the Sannin, Naruto is back in the Village Hidden in the Leaves and he’s ready to show off his new skills. He and Sakura team up to take on their old master Kakashi, who’s pretty impressed with their progress. They’ll have plenty of opportunity to put it into action when news arrives from the Sand Village that Gaara, Naruto’s former rival and now Kazekage of the Sand, has been kidnapped! And the culprits are the very same group who are after Naruto – the Akatsuki!
