Check out our review of the series.
The 1999 OVA series was directed by Rion Kujo from the scripts by Rokurota Makabe. Ren Raika handled the character designs with Phoenix Entertainment on the production.
The Japanese cast includes Ami Shizuki as Chihiro Asaoka, Kenji Makabe as Yoshirou Oka, Mai Inoue as Chihiro Asaoka, Minako Sankumi as Miku Hayasaka, Miyuki Takamura as Chieri Sugita, Naoki Tohjoh as Masato Fukuroi, Yuki Momotsuki as Kanna Yamasaki, Yuko Watanabe as Rei Kashiwazaki, and Yuu Hane as Chieri Sugita.
An English dub was produced by Kitty Media with a cast that includes Cameron Charles as Masato Fukuroi, Debbie Martinson as Chihiro Asaoka, Mark Showalter as Yoshiro Oka, Mitch Rose as Koji Ishimaru, Megan Horne as Kanna Yamabuki, and Ramona Fairchild as Miku Hayasaka.
Plot Concept: It’s summer vacation! Masato Fukuroi starts working part-time at the beach house Marine Palace with his friend Oka to earn money and meet cute girls! The playful Oka quickly starts chatting up a younger staff member, putting work on the back burner. Chieri Sugita is bubbly and cute, and busty, too. Masato isn’t completely disinterested in her, but he gives up from the start, thinking he can’t compete with Oka’s proactiveness. Masato spots Chihiro Asaoka on the beach, whom he had a crush on in junior high. Masato moved away after graduating from junior high without telling Chihiro his feelings, so he’s still hung up on her. And now she’s standing right in front of him. In a swimsuit as well. Her slender limbs, shapely hips, and breasts dazzle his eyes. However, she’s with a guy – An older, tall, athletic-type boyfriend. Masato and Chihiro exchange an awkward reunion conversation…
