A new manga series debuted in fall 2024 that falls under the dark fantasy banner with Night Light Hounds (ナイトライトハウンズ). It comes from creator Haruhisa Nakata and saw its debut on the Jump Plus web service on October 19th, 2024. Manga Plus has been bringing this out as an English simulpub on the same day it launches in Japan.
Now, with the series ending recently, the fourth and final volume is coming up on June 4th, 2026, and the finalized cover artwork has arrived below.
Nakata made their debut in 2012 with the Levius series and its 2015 follow-up Levisu/est and most recently worked on the two-volume series Kugutsu Senki which launched in 2020.
Shonen Jump+ is a free online manga magazine and app created by Shueisha that launched in 2014. It features original titles, content from other Shueisha magazines, and digital editions of Weekly Shōnen Jump. The magazine includes a variety of series, including shōnen manga for teenage boys, as well as titles for adults and female readers.
Plot Concept: Jimmy is a gang member in one of the world’s few underground cities, Silent Bay City. One day, he meets a girl and gets embroiled in a fight between the creatures of the night.
