The anime adaptation of the manga That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime from Fuse and Mitz Vah got underway in Japan with its October 1st, 2018 premiere, and it’s done well with a second season, a feature film, and a spinoff project. The show has done well enough that a third season was announced in November 2022, and it debuted in spring 2024.
We learned at the end of the two-cour third season that a fourth season is in the works and that a second film is in production as well. The fourth season is planned for two consecutive seasons, as there’s an ambitious plan for five cours for the project going forward. What comes after the first two consecutive ones will be detailed later, as to when they arrive and potentially naming conventions, as that is a lot of anime.
With the fourth season set to premiere on April 3rd, 2026, as part of the newly expanded Friday Anime Night block on NTV, Crunchyroll has the English dub underway with Austin Sisk directing it from the adaptation by Hayden Deaviau with prep by Bryson Baugus.

The manga, which has just under 5 million copies in print in Japan, began in 2013 and a manga adaptation launched in 2015, both of which are being brought out by Yen Press and Kodansha Comics respectively.
