The anime adaptation of Shunkashuutou Daikousha was announced in April 2025 and set Ken Yamamoto to direct it from the scripts overseen by Ayumu Hisao. Namiko Torii is on the character designs, with Wit Studio handling the animation production.
The spring 2026 series recently saw a March 28th, 2026, premiere date, and the home video releases are being handled by Aniplex Japan. The distributor has opted for a five-volume release on DVD priced at differently per set based on physical limited edition pack-ins. Check out the full schedule and known details below.
The Japanese cast includes Yuka Nukui as Hinagiku Kayō, Yoshino Aoyama as Sakura Himedaka, Sumire Uesaka as Ruri Hazakura, Ranko Baba as Ayame Hazakura, Hime Sawada as Nadeshiko Iwaizuki, Taku Yashiro as Rindō Azami, Shōgo Sakata as Rōsei Kantsubaki, Satoshi Hino as Itechō Kangetsu, Kana Hanazawa as Kōbai Yukiyanagi, and Nao Tōyama as Nazuna.
The light novels come from writer Kana Akatsuki with illustrations by Suoh which began in 2021 and has four volumes released so far with it ongoing. A manga adaptation is ongoing as well from Nappa Komatsuda with Yen Press bringing both out in English.

Plot Concept: At first, there was only Winter. But this lonely existence was too much for them to bear, so Winter split off part of themself to bring forth Spring. But the earth wished for Summer and Autumn as well, and with their creation marked the birth of the four seasons. The changing of seasons became the duty that fell upon humanity, and those tasked with the transition are known as “Agents of the Four Seasons.” This is the bittersweet story of Hinagiku and Sakura- Agent of Spring, and her devoted bodyguard who set out on a journey to usher in Yamato’s first spring in ten long years.
