“Ichinose the Circulator”
What They Say:
Yoshida takes over as manager of an apartment complex on behalf of his father. Awaiting him there were the attacks of the housewives driven mad by the lewd outfit brand, “Libido Cloth.” While being tossed about by the rampage of residents like Watanabe and Ichinose, the threat of Rank A housewife, Kanzaki, and the shadow of police obstructing the case further deepens the darkness within the complex. Armed with the countermeasure “Boltack Claw,” Yoshida fights them, but lurking behind him was the grasp of an even greater despair: the “Banishing Exclusion Women’s Society.”
Review: (Please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
Based on the manga by Kenkyujo Sakuseki and Yui Joyama, the spring 2026 anime adaptation is the latest short program to arrive in Japan. The anime adaptation brought on Toshikatsu Tokoro to direct it from the series composition by Eeyo Kurosaki. Rena Nasu handled the character designs, and Elias, which has worked on numerous projects in a mostly production assistance capacity, handled this at the time as well. The original manga is known as Hellish Apartment Complex and began in 2021 and has nine digital volumes out so far, with it ongoing.
Yoshida’s life has certainly taken a tough turn after taking over this apartment complex. While he dealt with Watanabe well enough before, this installment has the complex under siege by a slew of dirty photos being left around it. It turns out to be one of the residents, Ichinose, as she views her body as a work of art and wants to share it. She’s got the body for it to be sure, and it pretty clear about what she’s doing with Yoshida. The boys in the area hate that the pictures are being grabbed and burned, however, which just sets Ichinose to doing more and more to tempt pure young boys. And when she gets her hands on some Libido Cloth that takes it even further? She becomes the Smut Spreader that Yoshida has to deal with during a nighttime patrol that does not go well for him at all, since she’s basically possessed by the cloth.

In Summary:
The series is certainly entering the phase of being a guilty pleasure because it’s just so upfront and blunt about things. Yoshida’s the tough spot since he’s of age but drawn young, so it’s just awkward as heck as he has to deal with these possessed perverted housewives that have their kinks taken to extremes by the Libido Cloth. It’s simple silliness to be sure, but it works well enough for all the weirdness it wants to employ. It really is like a lot of “classic” anime and manga from stories of yore that I, um, heard about as a kid. So it’s got a weird and goofy nostalgia about it for me.
