Earlier today, Hasbro unveiled details for its celebration plans of The Transformers: The Movie 40th anniversary which an “Apology Tour” for all the young fans still traumatized over the deaths of many of the beloved characters, most especially beloved Autobot leader Optimus Prime. To whit, Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro have also announced the first-ever hardcover edition of the two comic adaptations of The Transformers: The Movie available in comic shops on August 12, 2026.
