Dark Horse has revealed the next official Legend of Zelda art book, which will be based on Tears of the Kingdom.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Secrets of the Zonai will launch on October 20th, 2026, with a hard-backed cover and 472 pages. Alongside the $60 standard version will be a $120 Hero’s Edition, which will include the following:
- a green slipcas
- an exclusive cover
- an art print of Link and the Sages
- a cloth map of the Depths
- and a Secret Stone of Time replica
The book will feature “over 50 pages of beautiful illustrations, character art, and promotional images,” followed by “nearly 300 pages of behind-the-scenes sketches, notes, rough designs, concept art, and recollections that provide an exclusive look at the development and creation of the game.”
The next 80 pages will go over Hyrule’s history, including “insights into the mysterious past of the Zonai all the way up to the events of the game.” The publication ends with interviews with key Tears of the Kingdom staff, including Producer Eiji Aonuma, Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, and Art Director Satoru Takizawa.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Secrets of the Zonai is available to pre-order now from Dark Horse. Amazon also has both the standard edition and Hero’s Edition listed, with pre-orders expected to open soon.
