The free Southside Book Fair returns March 29 with authors, live readings and family-friendly fun in San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO — Book lovers, mark your calendars.
The 5th Annual Southside Book Fair is returning to San Antonio on Sunday, March 29, with a free, family-friendly event celebrating literacy, local authors and community connection.
The fair will run from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Texas Sugar Daddies Event Venue, located on the Por Vida Academy campus at 1135 Mission Road.
Organizers say attendees can expect book signings, author meet-and-greets, live readings, panel discussions and activities for all ages.
“This event is a testament to the power of storytelling and the importance of fostering a love for reading at every age,” said April Monterrosa, publisher and CEO of Live From The Southside and founder of the fair.
Now in its fifth year, the Southside Book Fair highlights authors from the Southside and across the region while also supporting literacy and youth education initiatives in the community.
