A viral leak announcing a new season of Solo Leveling is being called out by the franchise’s fans.
On X (formerly Twitter), a convincing promotional artwork reveal for Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Season 3 made the rounds online. The poster credits Redice Studios, the art company behind the Solo Leveling manhwa, with the image stating that Season 3 will be released in 2026.
However, as many fans have pointed out online, the X account is unaffiliated with any of Solo Leveling‘s official accounts. Furthermore, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok came to a surprise end in July 2025. The webcomic adaptation recently lost its artist, JIN, due to mandatory military service in South Korea, with further official updates yet to be announced.
Solo Leveling Fans Expose AI-Generated Season 3 Leak as Fake
Among the public information that would make a Season 3 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok unlikely for 2026, many users on X are also criticizing the alleged use of AI to create this seemingly convincing leak. As with most AI artwork, fans are pointing towards the claw-like hand fusing into a character’s hair as an undeniable sign of AI usage.
At the moment, an official statement about the continuation of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok has yet to be made. Daul, the author of the webnovel based on Chugong’s work, concluded the sequel after two years.
“This journey began on April 10, 2023, and now it has come to an end,” Daul said. “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has walked this path with me. Continuing the legacy of Solo Leveling, such a beloved and meaningful story, was both a tremendous honor and a heavy responsibility.”
“I tried to write with the deepest respect for Chugong-nim’s original vision. To be honest, I was probably not so much a ‘creator’ as a humble ‘guardian’ — a guide in an already perfect world. Nevertheless, telling the story of Jinwoo and Suho continuing their journey was truly special for me. I rewrote, edited, and revised the lore countless times, all to create a story worthy of the original. To those who were disappointed by the delays, I offer my sincerest apologies. To those who waited, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You gave me strength.”

Despite its worldwide acclaim, the future of Solo Leveling remains unclear. An official Solo Leveling Season 3 anime announcement has yet to be made. However, series producer Atsushi Kaneko has continually teased that a big announcement is on the way.
In the meantime, Solo Leveling fans can keep themselves busy with Solo Leveling: Arise, available on mobile and PC, and Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive, available on PC and soon on consoles this year. A third Solo Leveling game is also in development, set to fully explore one of the most important moments in the series’ history.
