    Following a whirlwind week of events, Art Basel Hong Kong wrapped on Sunday and trumpeted that it had a record 91,500 visitors during its five-day run, though some attendees frowned upon the crowded aisles. Did the big turnout translate into big sales?

    Some of the 240 exhibitors reported major success. Despite global uncertainties, the war in the Gulf, and the surging price of oil, more items priced above $1 million sold this year compared to the last edition, according to exhibitors. Judging by sales bulletins we have received, there was also a concentration of business in the five-to-six-figure range.

    Below is a list of deals we have gathered throughout the past week. Note well: These sales were reported by dealers and publicists, and not everyone chooses to make such disclosures. For ease of reading, currency conversions to U.S. dollars have been made when necessary. Some dealers chose to share their sales in a roundup, format rather than a list of individual items.
