PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Art Center will host two events Saturday. The Art-O-Rama is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m and the Art Center’s Yart Sale will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual Art-O-Rama is a free family-focused event with hands-on activities available throughout the Arts Center building. Art stations will be available for kids to create art and take home afterward.
“We are always amazed by the creativity of the kids who join us for the Arty Parties and this final big event of the season,” said Arts Center Managing Director Jessie Siefert. “We are also grateful for the community that comes together to support children and families through events like this.”
Along with the art stations, there will be live demonstrations like woodcarving, soap carving, pottery and other interactive activities.
The Art-O-Rama was made possible through multiple partnerships with local organizations.

Funding and event support is through the Virginia L. Neptune Foundation and other donors.
The Art Center’s Yart Sale will be held in the ballroom and will feature gently used items available for purchase like art supplies, frames, decorations, toys, fabric, crafting tools, prints, magazines, small furniture and more.
Members and early-bird buyers can attend the sale 5-7 p.m. Friday. The Friday sale is free to Art Center members and early birds can attend for $10. The Saturday sale is free to the public.
All proceeds from the sale goes toward the operations of the Art Center along with its program for the spring and summer.
