We learned in March 2026 that another short manga is on the path to an AnimeFesta anime project with Onaji Semi no Someya-san ga AV Joyū datta Hanashi. The manga comes from creator Nigo Shoji, which ran for just eight chapters, and makes for an ideal quick and simple short-form project. It translates as The Story of Someya, My Classmate in a College Seminar, Was a Sexy Actress and is being released as My Classmate’s a Sexy Actress, and Now We Live Together?!
The production previously confirmed a July 5th, 2026, premiere date. We knew previously that the show will get the first episode done as early streaming through DMM TV on June 12th, 2026, and OceanVeil has now announced its pickup of the show and that it’ll premiere on that date. The second episode will come during the broadcast run, so it’ll be a month between episodes, something we’ve seen with other recent shows of this nature.
The show has Narue Kurotsuguchi directing it from the series composition by Eeyo Kurosaki. Hapirai Chokomi is handling the character designs with Studio Hokiboshi on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Hitomi Yanagi as Ruka Someya
- Riku Miyazora as Ryōsuke Kamiya
. The theme song has Momo Sakurazora performing “Mirai Contrail.”

Plot Concept: The story revolves around Ryōsuke Kamiya, who notices while watching porn one day that his classmate in college, Rūka Someya, is starring in an adult video that he is watching. When Ryōsuke privately asks Rūka about it, she tells him that she will have sex with him if he doesn’t tell anyone.
