Good news for gaming fans who like to see anime adaptations of those works, as Needy Streamer Overload is on track for a TV anime, as announced in November 2025. The series is set for an April 2026 debut with Masaoki Nakajima directing it from a scenario overseen by the game writer nyalra. Kenji Saikai, Akari Takei, and Umito Shimizu are handling the character designs with Yostar Pictures on the animation production.
With the theatrical release behind us, and an April 4th, 2026, premiere date set, the production brought out the second preview of the 2nd episode due out on April 11th, 2026.

The Japanese cast includes:
- Rina Kawaguchi as Purple Lollipop
- Satsuki Shiina as Michika Gokubara
- Seena Hoshiki as Nechika-sama
- Anna Nagase as Kache
The series features the opening theme song “Internet Angel” as performed by KAngel, and the ending theme song “Levitation” performed by Tatsuya Kitani.
The game from WSS playground and Xemono debuted in 2022 via multiple language options on Steam and eventually console.

Plot Concept: NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE is a multi-ending adventure game depicting 30 days in the life of a girl with an intense desire for validation who aims to become the ultimate streamer, with the support of “P”.
