We’ve reached the final month of this year’s regular NBA season, which has been a particularly annoying one to try and stream online. This was the first season that put into effect the ~$77 billion deal that split NBA broadcast rights across ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video. While these companies broadcast major national games, out-of-market game streams are still only available through the NBA League Pass.

If you’ve been frustrated by this absolute streaming mess, or are generally interested in tuning into some basketball, Amazon happens to be offering free NBA League Pass access to Prime members through this entire weekend.

As of 2026, the NBA is split up across multiple broadcasters, making it hard to pin down a single best NBA streaming service. The NBA League Pass includes out-of-market games, which make up the majority of regular season match-ups. National games continue to be broadcast on NBC, ABC, and ESPN. That means the Pass won’t include every game this weekend, so I’d recommend checking the full NBA schedule for reference.

Games Covered by Amazon’s NBA League Pass Promo

    Friday, March 13

    • Memphis Grizzlies vs Detroit Pistons – 7:30pm ET
    • New York Knicks vs Indiana Pacers – 7:30pm ET
    • Phoenix Suns vs Toronto Raptors – 7:30pm ET
    • Cleveland Cavaliers vs Dallas Mavericks – 7:30pm ET (Prime Video)
    • New Orleans Pelicans vs Houston Rockets – 8:00pm ET
    • Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors – 10:00pm ET
    • Utah Jazz vs Portland Trail Blazers – 10:00pm ET
    • Chicago Bulls vs LA Clippers – 10:30pm ET

    Saturday, March 14

    • Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers – 1:00pm ET
    • Milwaukee Bucks vs Atlanta Hawks – 3:00pm ET
    • Charlotte Hornets vs San Antonio Spurs – 3:30pm ET (Prime Video)
    • Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat – 8:00pm ET

    Sunday, March 15

    • Detroit Pistons vs Toronto Raptors – 3:30pm ET
    • Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks – 3:30pm ET
    • Portland Trail Blazers vs Philadelphia 76ers – 6:00pm ET
    • Utah Jazz vs Sacramento Kings – 10:00pm ET

Prime memberships start at $14.99. However, Amazon Prime happens to offer a wonderful 30-day free trial, so you could theoretically jump on that to check out both services at once.

Aside from being available through Prime Video, the NBA League Pass is also available directly through the NBA site. For $16.99, you get access to every out-of-market game on one device. The Premium plan ups that price to $24.99 and lets you see what’s happening on the court during commercial breaks with support on up to four devices. Both plans include multi-viewing up to four games simultaneously. Another option is the Team Pass for $13.99, which gets you all of the out-of-market games for one specific team.

In other Prime Video news, Amazon recently announced that it will be raising prices for its ad-free streaming tier starting on April 10, 2026. The service is being rebranded as ‘Prime Video Ultra’ moving forward.
