A confectionary art piece is being installed at a Midtown roundabout.
The Midtown OKC organization is placing a new art installation in the roundabout at 10th Street and Walker Avenue. Until now, the roundabout was landscaped with shrubbery and flowering plants.
The illuminated pop art statue, named “Light and Airy,” will appear as an oversized peice of layer cake with a dash of whipped cream (or a fluffy cloud) on top. It will be translucent with bright blue and red colors.
