ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — The 2026 Metro Youth Art Exhibit is set to open this week. You can catch a glimpse of nearly 1,200 pieces of art from middle and high school students across the metro, starting this Wednesday, April 8 at the APS Berna Facio Professional Development Complex.
The exhibit will run until April 28, closing with an awards ceremony for several categories. The City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County will also continue the tradition of purchasing several pieces from the show to become part of their permanent art collections.
