Marvel’s next big thing is putting the X-Men center stage. Later this year, the House of Ideas will release DNX, a new event from the minds of Jed MacKay and Federico Vicentini. Little is known about the story itself, other than the creators involved.
That, and the fact Marvel included the event’s tagline — an ominous warning that “evolution is contagious.”
Also of note is the fact that while MacKay has written many stories at Marvel in recent years, the publisher chose to select X-Men and Blood Hunt as the two stories the writer is known for. Coupled with the fact that it’s debuting right as Spooky Season gets rockin’ and rollin’, one might be able to surmise DNX will be an X-Men starring, horror-tinged outing.
MacKay has written Marvel’s flagship X-Men title since 2024, which is currently solicited through X-Men #32 hitting shelves June 24.
DNX #1 has yet to set an exact release date, though Marvel does say it’ll see release in September. Crossover titles have yet to be unveiled.
