The Lenovo Legion Glasses 2 is a lightweight pair of “glasses” that consists of two 1080p 120Hz Micro-OLED displays which together produce a 126″ 4K virtual screen about 4 meters away. Similar to a portable USB monitor, you use a single USB-C to transmit video and power to the glasses as long as the device you’re using has a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery. That includes the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and and Asus ROG Ally handheld gaming PCs as well as most current generation laptops. Note that because power draw is increased, you’ll likely have to plug your laptop or handheld PC into a charger to handle the additional battery drain.
The Legion Glasses 2 are very light, weighing in at 65 grams, or just 2 ounces. It’s certainly lighter than any VR headset or portable USB monitor, for example. A protective carrying case is included so transporting it safely is a cinch. The built-in speakers also provide serviceable audio, so you don’t need to bring additonal headphones if you plan to travel light. You can even make hands-free phone calls with the internal mic if you pair the glasses to your smartphone.
