An anime adaptation of Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods was announced in July 2024, whose source material saw release with the light novels through Yen Press beginning in 2024. The property comes from writer Enju with artwork by ox, which has ten volumes so far. The project previously set an April 2026 debut with Seikijuu Sekino directing it and has Ryo Yamauchi as the assistant director, working from the scripts overseen by Yuji Kobayashi. Yuko Inou and Chikako Noma are handling the character designs, with JUVENAGE handling the animation production.
With an April 4th, 2026, premiere date, the production has now updated with the theme songs streaming in clean form to add to your collection or share with others to promote the show. Crunchyroll picked up the series, where it’ll be available to subscribers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.
The Japanese cast includes:

- Minako Kotobuki as Torika
- Shinnosuke Tokudome as Seri
- Makoto Koichi as Utsugi
- Yūichirō Umehara as Saiga Harima

- Daiki Kobayashi as Raijin
- Tōru Ōkawa as Reiki
- Kōji Yusa as Ōryū
- Show Hayami as Kirin
- Hiroki Takahashi as Hōō
The series features the opening theme song “Odoroki no Ko” while the ending theme song “Utamahi” as performed by JYOCHO.

Plot Concept: Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki is left in charge of a terrifying house overflowing with evil spirits—or at least it was, until his extraordinary ability cleared them all out! Instead, a procession of unique and peculiar gods is drawn to the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence, and Minato spends his days relaxing in the company of his spiritual neighbors. What else lies in store for Minato as he lives peacefully surrounded by gods?
