KPop Demon Hunters may have a big weekend ahead at the Oscars, but the excitement around this film isn’t stopping there. Huntr/x is also set to join The Criterion Collection this year, which is great news for physical media collectors that adored the animated movie. At the moment, the Criterion Collection release is now available to preorder at Amazon for $39.95, though a release date isn’t set in stone yet. Once it’s announced, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Similar to its lack of release date at the moment, there’s also been no news about bonus features yet. However, when they’re announced, we’ll be sure to include them here.
KPop Demon Hunters has been a huge success for Netflix, and it’s a film we really loved as well. Our review from writer Toussaint Egan called it, “a terrific directorial debut for animator Maggie Kang and yet another feather in Sony Pictures Animation’s well-plumed cap. Rumi, Mira, and Zoey steal the spotlight and save the day in one fell swoop, delivering ample action with raw charisma and no shortage of gut-busting laughs.”
A sequel to KPop Demon Hunters has also been greenlit, but of course, is still a long ways away from gracing our screens. In the meantime, though, alongside this Criterion Collection release, there’s a wide variety of items and collectibles worth keeping on your radar. Among them are some figures of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey from Hot Toys that are set to release in 2027, and even LEGO is getting in on the fun with a series of sets dropping this summer, so keep an eye out for those.
As mentioned earlier, KPop Demon Hunters also has a big weekend ahead at the Oscars. If you’re hoping to watch this year’s ceremony to see if it wins, check out our breakdown of how to watch the Oscars 2026 so you don’t miss out on the fun.
