A decision to protect children’s LGBTQIA book access has cost Rutherford County Library System Director Luanne James her job, which she explained in an interview with the Daily News Journal.
Her decision was made after the majority of the library board voted March 16 to move 132 books to the adult section of branches in Murfreesboro, Smyrna and Eagleville, James told the DNJ during an interview at a coffee shop.
