“Orchestra for Oliver” is a 48-page hardcover book priced at $24.95. It will be released April 17 and falls under the children’s stories category. The story centers on Camille, who learns she will become a big sister. However, the family receives sad news from the doctor, realizing they may have limited time with baby Oliver after his birth. The family chooses to create meaningful memories with him through music-related experiences.
The book includes colorful illustrations by Estelle Corke that depict the emotional journey of Camille and her family. It serves as a gentle introduction for older siblings facing the loss of an unborn baby. The back section offers prayers and suggestions for making memories during the baby’s life and coping with loss.
Stewart, who lives in Michigan, has homeschooled her children for more than 28 years. She is dedicated to upholding the dignity of life through her involvement in life-affirming events and by distributing “life” bracelets to local pregnancy centers and individuals. “Orchestra for Oliver” is inspired by the life of Stewart’s second grandchild, Oliver, who continues to be celebrated by his family.
The book is published by Pauline Books & Media of Boston.
