Superman stands as one of the most powerful characters not only in DC Comics, but in modern fiction. Fueled by yellow sunlight, Superman possesses infinite strength, speed, and durability, along with other potent abilities such as flight, heat vision, freeze breath, and X-ray vision. Yet, despite possessing enough power to shatter universes and topple omnipotent gods, Superman constantly finds himself broken and on the verge of death. This isn’t a contradiction — to raise the stakes and give the Man of Steel legitimate challenges, DC writers have deliberately given Superman numerous weaknesses that his enemies can exploit to push him…

Fans of Bethesda have less than 24 hours to get two classic RPGs for free. As you may know, Bethesda is both a publisher of games and a developer of games. And its best-known games are the games it makes itself via Bethesda Game Studios, the studio behind and shepherding the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series. That said, what a lot of people don’t know is that while Bethesda created The Elder Scrolls series from scratch, it actually acquired the Fallout series in 2004, a few years before it made Fallout 3. It wasn’t until Fallout 3 that the…

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1, Episode 2 begins in rather startling fashion, which is fast becoming something of a trend for the show. Early in the first episode, there was a graphic poop scene with Ser Duncan the Tall as the Game of Thrones theme song played. The second installment comes out swinging with Ser Arlan of Pennytree, who gets his own toilet humor scene as he steps outside for a pee, completely butt-naked. Only it’s not his butt anyone is paying attention to. The prequel revealing that Ser Arlan is a knight carrying two swords isn’t…

Surprise! It looks like a 30th Anniversary Edition of Rayman is on the way.Though not formally confirmed by Ubisoft, the unannounced game has popped up on the Australian Classification website, and it’s apparently coming to both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. While the franchise is owned by Ubisoft, both the developer and publisher are listed as Atari, which has previously distributed physical editions of games and remakes. Sadly, the listing gives us very little detail on what to expect aside from confirmation that it has “very mild” violence (thanks, Gematsu). Rayman looks set for a return. Last week saw the official nominations for the 98th Academy Awards revealed to the world, which brought with it, as usual, plenty of surprises. Though fans fully expected the critical love for One Battle After Another to continue at the Oscar nominations, and it did, the biggest success story was Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which officially became the most-nominated movie in Oscar history with 16 nominations (shattering the old record by two after decades). Naturally, other shocks arrived too, snubs that film fans still aren’t over and will be mad about for years, but some films also got love in unexpected…
