Crunchyroll has delivered some unfortunate news for anime fans looking to catch the English dub of their favorite releases in the coming weeks. Winter storms across the United States have forced the anime streamer to delay some of its most anticipated releases.
Crunchyroll’s primary in-house dubbing studio is located in Dallas, Texas, where recent winter storms have led to multiple production delays. A recent press release announced the exact winter 2026 English dubs that would be impacted by the change, including Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2, Trigun Stargaze, Jack-of-all-Trades, Party of None and several others.
The change in schedule will see multiple episodes pushed back into February, with some dubbed releases now being as far out as Feb. 16. Crunchyroll revealed that regular English dub schedules are planned to continue after the following adjustments.

Crunchyroll’s English dub scheduling update will see 10 different anime titles delayed as of writing, but arguably the biggest impact is for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, which will see its first three dubbed episodes of Season 2 pushed back. The season premiered earlier this month on Jan. 16, and after the delays, dubbed watchers will have to wait a total of three weeks before jumping into the new episodes.
The second season of Frieren comes over two years after the series made its debut in September 2023, telling the story of an eleven mage named Frieren who lives a near-immortal life and finds herself reflecting on her former companions, most of whom have now aged and died around her. As she sets out on her next journey with a new group of traveling companions, her old memories resurface, making for a critically acclaimed series that mixes fantasy and adventure with heartfelt drama.
Crunchyroll’s regular English dub schedule is expected to return to normal following the previously listed adjustments in February.
